The Energy Management Procurement Team (EMPT) is responsible for buying natural gas, electric  and  fuel oil for university requirements.  The team is primarily  responsible for procuring natural gas and electric for the New Brunswick campuses. Technical  assistance, participation  in  energy contracts and advice on utility matters is offered and made available to both the Camden and Newark campuses. The following individuals are members of the Energy Management Procurement Team:

Facilities  Business  Administration  is  the   primary  point   of  contact  and coordinator  for  the  Energy  Management  Procurement  Team.  The  team typically purchases between $30 and $40 million dollars annually on energy commodities.
