Step 3: Your Pre-Qualification CD will be reviewed by the A/E Selection Committee, consisting of representatives from Project Services, Planning & Development and the Office of the University Architect.
This committee meets monthly to review all received Pre-Qualification CD’s, verifying that preliminary qualifications have been met.
Step 4: Should the A/E Selection Committee determine that your firm does not meet Rutgers University’s preliminary qualification standards, your firm will be electronically notified via your email address.
If your firm has met Rutgers University’s preliminary qualification standards, you will be invited by a representative from the Office of the University Architect to be interviewed by the A/E Selection Committee on a date that is mutually acceptable through written correspondence.
Step 5: The Interview Process
Interviews are conducted for all A/E firms who have successfully met the Pre-Qualification Criteria by the previously noted A/E Selection Committee.
Should the A/E Selection Committee determine that your firm does not meet Rutgers University’s selection criteria during the interview process, your firm will be notified stating such via written correspondence from the Office of the University Architect.
If your firm has met the selection criteria as established by the A/E Selection Committee, you will be invited to send a reduced size set of complete working drawings from a project your firm recently completed. Your firm will also be given an “Electronic Pass Code”. With this pass code, your firm would be able to gain access to the Rutgers’ On-Line List of A/E Firms in order for your firm to both submit a completed Architect-Engineer Qualifications Standard Form 330 on-line as well as submitting your URL Link to your firm’s webpage.
Please mail your complete working drawings to:
The reduced set of working drawings, the SF 330, and business references will be reviewed and verified by the Rutgers’ Office of the University Architect.
Step 7: The A/E On-Call List
Provided that all reviews are successful, your firm will be placed on the A/E On-Call List. Written correspondence will be forwarded to your firm by the Office of the University Architect noting your successful placement on the A/E On-Call List.
Should the A/E Selection Committee determine that your firm does not meet Rutgers University’s criteria for the A/E On-Call List, written correspondence stating such will be sent to you by the Office of the University Architect.
