University Facilities is responsible for the stewardship of the following:

 
  Business Administration

Business Administration (FBA) is an organizational unit within the University Facilities whose services entail cost accounting, budgeting, document management, energy procurement, financial reporting, information technology services, human resources, employee training and payroll and warehouse operations.

·         Recycled 302,240 lbs of commingled recyclables during a 10 week contest

·         Recycled 67.74% of our solid waste in 2005

·         recipients of 15,000 service calls per year

·         maintain 18,000 classroom seats

·         53,000 annual Preventative Maintenance work orders

·         installed over 35,000 florescent light tubes

·         Over 72,000 rolls of toilet tissue replaced annually, which equates to 14,000 miles

·         Supply 22,000 rolls of restroom paper towels annually

·         Provide 24/7 coverage throughout the year

·         supply signage from High Point to Cape May , NJ

·         Collect 200 recycling and 150 trash containers 300 times a week

·        managed and maintained by 750 staff members

 

 
Departmental Administration
    
This group is responsible for all FOS financial operations,
     administrative processes and services.
 
 
Facilities Operations & Services
    
Facilities Operations & Services is the umbrella organization
     responsible for:  

§    environmental services; providing  pest control,  recycling & custodial  services,

§    grounds operations

§    event support

§    automotive services

§    mechanical maintenance

§    mechanical planning

§    signage

§    utilities plant operations, including the generation of power ,the monitoring of building syst ems and the distribution of utilities

Planning and Development
     This office is responsible for the development of the university
     capital plan

Program Administration
    This office is responsible for the administration of university
      funded life safety, ADA , campus lighting, R & R, and
      classroom renovation programs.
 
 
Project Services
    Project Services unit manages all of components involved
     with the construction of a new building and the renovation of
     existing space.  This unit provides master planning, design
     and construction management services.

Real Estate Administration
    The Office of Real Estate Planning supervises and
      coordinates all purchases, sales and leases of properties
      and facilities on behalf of the entire University system.
